The National Service Scheme of this institution is under the National Service Scheme of IHRD.  One aided unit with 50 volunteers from first year and 50 volunteers from second year are actively participating in the activities.   A total of 240 hours of regular activities and seven days special camp spread over two years completes the minimum requirements of getting the digitally generated certificate from NSS secretariat.  We are getting financial support from the NSS and from PTA.  All the programmes under the unit are governed by the advisory committee under the principal.  We are getting full support from the principal and all the staff members of this institution. The activities include campus cleaning, giving awareness on environmental problems, water conservation programmes, green environment etc.  This year the seven day camp was conducted during the Christmas vacation at the College of Engineering, Karunagappally.
